Burgers are definitely one of the best summer foods out there. Think of all those summers you've spent grilling patties on your backyard BBQ while drinking a cold beverage on a hot summer evening. Doesn't that just sound like the best night?
Burgers scream summer picnics, cottage nights and backyard BBQs where life is carefree and easy! That's why it's no surprise that there's an amazing festival dedicated to our favourite summer meal happening this year in Toronto.
BurgerFest TO is the first and only burger festival in Toronto and you definitely don't want to miss out! They're going to be bringing in all the best burgers Toronto has to offer and making some crazy creations at the same time.
BurgerFest Toronto will be taking place on July 13th-15th at The Campbell House Museum located in the heart of Downtown Toronto. This 3-day festival will be held all day from 11am-10pm on the site of this beautiful 1800s mansion!
They're modelling the festival to be a huge 'backyard BBQ' in the heart of downtown with 3 whole days of amazing food, live music, and even arts! The festival is meant to bring burger lovers together to enjoy some of the best local burgers in the city.
They're going to have tons of vendors selling delicious burgers at the event but they haven't yet released a list of these vendors yet. They'll also have a massive beergarden where you can enjoy brews and burgers in a beautiful atmosphere. They'll also have tons of burger options that aren't beef including turkey burgers, veggie burgers, and halal burgers!
To purchase an entire weekend pass to the even costs $20 and for each day during specified times it will only cost $10. They don't specify on their website but we're guessing the tickets only include entry to the event and you'll have to pay extra for any drinks and food consumed.
Check out their website for more information and to purchase your tickets!
