Attention all students and book lovers! The Toronto Reference Library will be offering an unbeatable clearance sale on over 10,000 books from Aug. 15-17. The Toronto library book sale is a bring-your-own-bag event and includes CDs as well as other media relics. Certain items will be priced as low as 10 cents, and the highest price will be just $5. The vast majority of books will be for sale at $1. Because of the low prices, this will be a cash-only event.

Now that I have your attention, here are some of the details of the event.  It will be held at The Toronto Reference Library's Beeton Hall, which is one block north of Bloor on Yonge Street. These are the following dates and times:

  • Thursday, August 15, 2019: 9:30 a.m. to sell-out or 6:30 p.m.

  • Friday, August 16, 2019: 9:00 a.m. to sell-out or 6:30 p.m.

    Saturday, August 17, 2019: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

All of the proceeds of this event will benefit library programs, so be sure to come out and support, while also treating yourself to some cool finds from the library's huge collection.

Upgrade your book collection on a dime!
