You shoot! You score! If the lack of hockey in your life has you feeling low right now, we’ve got just the thing to lift your spirits. A Toronto Maple Leafs PA announcer is offering the coolest personalized shoutouts and it will totally make you feel like part of the team.

Have you always wanted to hear your name blasted over the PA in Scotiabank Arena?

Well, you may not be able to actually go to the rink right now, but PA announcer Mike Ross, who calls goals for Leafs games, is currently offering personalized shouts for fans on social media.

Now, you can experience all the magic Rossy puts into his arena announcements from the comfort of your home.

And, for once, it won’t be Auston Matthews or William Nylander’s name you hear, it will be your own.

Talk about the Canadian dream, right?

As Ross explained on Twitter, all you need to do is send him the goalscorer (you), your ideal jersey number, any assists you want on the call, and the time your goal was scored.

You can pull from games you’ve played IRL or make up a goal to finally fulfill those TML fantasies.

With the current COVID-19 situation playing a big role in everyone’s day-to-day life right now, Ross is just looking to send out some positive vibes.

“Hope this brings a little bit of light, a little bit of levity, and a little bit of a smile to your face,” he states in one of the videos.

The personalized goal calls are just one of many ways Leafs fans can feel connected to the game while the NHL remains on pause.

With live streams from Tessa Virtue and Morgan Rielly and videos of Paige Lorenze cutting Kasperi Kapanen’s hair to keep us entertained, the Leafs off-ice content is nearly as good as the regularly scheduled programming.

Tyson Barrie also went live earlier this week to share a team update and show off his adorable doggo. Too cute!

You could even play video games with Zach Hyman, or enjoy all of the adorable National Puppy Day posts on the Leafs IG feed right now.

So, while hockey is at a standstill, it seems as though Leafs Nation still has plenty to shout about.
