Toronto Maple Leafs Player Mitch Marner Made A Girl's Valentine's Day Dream Come True Last Night

Toronto forward Mitchell Marner makes fan's dream come true with a heartwarming gesture.

A little girl’s Valentine's day wish was granted last night by Maple Leafs forward Mitchell Marner after he spotted her holding up an adorable sign in the hopes of catching his attention. The sign's message was simple: “Hey Mitch! Be My Valentine?” and the player was more than happy to oblige. Marner scooped up a nearby puck and toss it over the boards as his little fan proceeded to lose it with excitement.

Marner didn’t just flip the girl a puck - he went the extra mile for the young fan. The player took some time out of his busy schedule - I mean, his team still had a game to win - to ask her if she wanted to take a picture with him. By the reaction on her face, she couldn’t believe her luck. Marner then skated off to continue warming up, and the little girl shared another heartwarming moment with her mother, collapsing into her arms in joy.

To give a happy story and even happier ending, the Leafs faced off against the Vegas Golden Knights that night and dominated them with a 6-3 victory. So not only did the little girl get to meet her hero, she also got to see her team pull off an impressive win.
