Have you always wanted to celebrate Oktoberfest in Europe? Well, you don't need to board a plane to Germany to take part in this traditional festival. Right here in Toronto, you'll be able to enjoy German food and beer at Toronto Oktoberfest this fall!
Toronto Oktoberfest is going to be one huge party! You can join thousands of people in a giant Bavarian-style Festhalle tent to celebrate German culture. The three-day festival is happening at Ontario Place from Sep. 26 to 28, 2019.
It wouldn't be Oktoberfest without German beer and delicious food! At the festival, you'll be able to enjoy a glass of Erdinger, the world's most popular wheat beer. Plus, you'll be able to try classic Oktoberfest food like pretzels, Bratwurst, schnitzel, and pierogies!
This year, Toronto Oktoberfest will be open to all ages on Saturday, Sep. 28, from 12 to 4 p.m. But on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, it will be a 19+ event. On Thursday and Friday, the event runs from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and on Saturday it'll open from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. You'll want to make sure to arrive early because the first 500 attendees each day will receive a free glass beer stein!
