The murder of 2 men in Kensington Market back in 2016 has Toronto police completely stumped and they’re appealing to the public for help.
And to help incentivize someone into coming forward with information they’re offering a massive reward.
Anyone who gives police a tip that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible will get $50,000. Here are the facts of the case.
On July 1 of 2016 Justin Bokma, 42, and Lafrance Matthews, 41, were both shot and killed inside an illegal after-hours club in Kensington Market.
A pair of other people were also shot but survived the incident. There were about 40 to 50 people inside the club at the time of the shooting but police say they have had very few people come forward to talk to them about it.
Police say that they have learned that a group of five to six males showed up at the club, who were likely there to sell drugs.
