Union Station's first ice rink officially opened on November 29. The skating area is the largest outdoor rink in the city, stretching to nearly half the size of an NHL hockey rink. The best part is, there's no cost to enjoy it.

The rink is part of TD Union Holiday, which runs until January 4 and celebrates the season with tons of festive pop-ups and events.

Skates and helmets are available to rent on-site for free if you don't have your own.

There are several events happening at the station in honour of the holidays. Watch free musical performances and receive complimentary gift wrapping from December 9 to December 24.

The rink will be open daily until January 4, weather permitting. There will be no skating available on Christmas day.
