You Need To Visit This 1.3 km Boardwalk Trail That Is A Hidden Oasis In Toronto

Over the summer we all crave to get outdoors and spend some time in nature. Even if you can't find the time to escape the city, you can find a beautiful hidden oasis in the city. Toronto's Glen Stewart Park Trail is a picturesque 1.3 km boardwalk trail that you need to see.

The boardwalk trail is open year round and will take you through a ravine surrounded with a lush forest of Red Oak and Maple trees.

Glen Stewart Park Trail is an easy trail, perfect for taking a stroll, but it does have a lot of stairs. Runners especially love to exercise here because there are several sets of stairs on the trail.

Following the elevated boardwalk path, you won't feel like you are in the city at all because all you'll see is trees! The sound of the rustling leaves and moving water in the ravine will make you feel like you escaped to one of Ontario's amazing Provincial Parks.

It is a super peaceful environment, which is why it is so popular with locals. Plus, due to the dense amount of trees in the area, it is a particularly lovely hike in the summer because the shade will help keep you stay cool.

The route itself is simple to follow, as it is a straight line. Starting the trail near Kingston Road At Beech Ave, you can follow the boardwalk trail until you reach Queen Street E. At the end of the trail, you can cross the street to Glen Manor Drive until you reach the Beaches boardwalk. The beautiful boardwalk path by the water makes a perfect spot to continue your hike.
