This Terrifying Escape Room In Toronto Is Just Like Netflix's The Witch And It's Intense

If you loved Netflix's horror film The Witch, then you have to check out this spooky escape room that immerses you into the world of pioneers with a wicked twist. Where Dark Things Dwell is a fresh twist on the escape room experience. It's your job to save the cursed town from a group of cultists who would summon an ancient evil force! 

This game of witchcraft and the occult will have your heart racing as you fight to save the remaining villagers, and discover the great incantation that will stop evil from rising up and then escape the village. You'll be exploring the village, gathering clues and solving puzzles to win. You can even play multiple times because each experience is unique.

Fans of Lovecraftian stories, history and horror will absolutely love this unique experience. It's kind of halfway between an escape room and a live gaming experience and it's way more intense than your average escape room.

This escape room is done by Secret City Adventures, who also do vintage noir-inspired escape rooms inside Casa Loma. Where Dark Things Dwell is also a site-specific escape room, taking place on Black Creek Pioneer Village—a historic site that dates back to 1867. These escape rooms are so incredibly immersive because of their unique settings and will really give you a good spook!
