While Toronto made home to its first Chick-fil-A back in September, it looks like the popular franchise is looking to expand within the 6ix. A new Chick-fil-A location is coming to Toronto, and they are hiring. Multiple job postings have been popping up for Toronto's new Chick-fil-A and they reveal that the new restaurant will be at Yorkdale Mall.
UPDATE: Chick-fil-A has confirmed to Narcity that the Yorkdale Mall location will be opening sometime in 2020.
EARLIER: Indeed has been posting a variety of job postings for the new Yorkdale location, and Chick-fil-A has just confirmed to Narcity that the new location will be opening its doors by 2020.*
The franchise is hiring Hospitality Team Members, as well as kitchen and front of house positions for the new location. Some of the openings on Indeed are listed as "urgently hiring." This hints that the Yorkdale location may be opening sooner rather than later.
According to the ad, the Yorkdale Chick-fil-A location will be open from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and will be closed on Sundays.
The grand opening of Toronto's first-ever Chick-fil-A drew protests and plenty of news coverage. The Atlanta-based fried chicken chain is known for its popular sandwiches as well as their anti-LGBTQ politics.
This combination of traits made for a controversial opening in Toronto this summer, but the restaurant has proven to be wildly popular so far.
The chain's only Toronto location has seen lineups around the block at any time of day, and it's no surprise that the franchise would want to open another location due to the demand.
The crowds for the first location were crazy. People are obsessed with their chicken sandwiches, despite a lot of protestors and complaints.

However, it seems that Chick-fil-A is attempting to open the new store in stealth mode.
Narcity has reached out to both Yorkdale Mall and Chick-fil-A Canada for information on the Yorkdale location, yet neither franchise was willing to confirm the opening date of the location.
A Chick-fil-A representative has told Narcity that the location can be expected by 2020, but will not give a set date.
"Chick-fil-A is excited to serve a new community in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), opening a second franchisee-owned location at Yorkdale Shopping Centre Dine on 3 food court in 2020."
"Our restaurant location in Yorkdale will bring to life the authentic Chick-fil-A experience. This includes treating all guests with care by offering great food and quick service in a welcoming environment."
"Since opening the first franchisee-owned Canadian location at 709 Yonge Street in September, we’re thrilled to have served tens of thousands of Torontonians and are excited to see that guests continue to line up for our signature menu items."*
