Toronto's Rexdale Has Definitions In Urban Dictionary And They're Pretty Ratchet

Rexdale, Toronto's west end neighbour, has gained quite a negative reputation over the years, thanks to a slew of shootings, stabbings, assaults and gang activity that seem to be recurring issues. It seems that the general consensus among locals is that Rexdale is a dangerous, crime-ridden area that should be avoided as much as possible, despite the fact that the area is really not as bad as it's made out to be.

With a reputation that's already tarnished, it doesn't help that Rexdale managed to land its own definitions in Urban Dictionary. There isn't a single entry that doesn't mention the area's history of crime, or bash it for being "ghetto". There are even some definitions that have turned Rexdale into a verb for criminal activity, which is a bit unfair. See for yourself:
