Festival season in Toronto isn't over yet! This September, there'll be a massive vegetarian food festival in Toronto. So mark your calendars because Veg Fest is back from Sep. 6 to 8, 2019!
Veg Fest is North America's largest vegetarian festival. If you're a foodie in Toronto, you need to attend this incredible event. Last year, it attracted 40,000 people who were eager to try all the delicious food.
Even if you aren't vegan or vegetarian, you'll still have an incredible time at Veg Fest! This year, Veg Fest will take place at the Harbourfront Centre in Toronto. The festival hours are 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sep. 6, 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sep. 7, and 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sep. 8.
Admission to the festival is free, plus there'll be over 40 hours of free events like cooking demonstrations and workshops!
The vendors include a diverse mix of local businesses, nonprofits, and restaurant chains. This year's vendor line-up includes Cinnaholic, Loon Kombucha, Lord of the Fries, Nuts for Cheese, Oat & Mill, and Pierogi Me!
You'll want to make sure to show up hungry because there'll be tons of delicious food and drinks to try. In September, you can sample food from over 150 plant-based vendors! There are cinnamon buns, grilled cheese, ice cream, colourful kombucha, drinks in a pineapple, veggie dogs, tacos, and more!
