You Can Get Free Poutine And Philly Cheesesteaks In Toronto Today

When given the choice of free food and food you have to pay for, the correct answer is always go for free.

And boy do we have a free food alert for you: Toronto's Philthy Philly's is marking their grand opening on Yonge Street with tons of it.

Starting at 6pm today (Friday, November 3rd), Philly's will be giving out free poutine or a free philly cheesesteak sandwiches to its first 200 customers, with veggie options available for all of the herbivores out there.

With 26 different options of poutine available, it's not clear which type will be available to seekers of free food. Personally, I hope it will be the Triple Cheese or Chicken Bacon Ranch, but when it's free, who cares?

Not going to be in the area at 6pm? Don't worry, Philly's is giving out regular sandwiches or poutine and a drink for $5 all day.

With 9 locations across the GTA, Philthy Philly's is totally a local staple. But with a new location opening in the heart of downtown, you can bet the poutinerie will have a slew of new fans.

If cheese-covered fresh cut fries and greasy, cheesey sandwiches are your thing, make sure to get down to 372 Yonge Street before 6:00pm to nab a spot in line and a free dinner.
