Canada's oldest and most well known maximum security prison is opening it's doors to the public for the first time ever this summer!
As of June 16th from 9 a.m to 5 p.m Kingston Penitentiary will be offering 90 minute tours of their facility to the public. Tickets will cost $25 per person, although residents of Kingston will get a special rate on Tuesdays ($20 per person). In these tours guests will get to see the facility that once held Paul Bernardo, Marie-Anne Houde, and Russell Williams.
From June 21st until September 4th tours will commence every 20 minutes starting at 9:00 AM and ending with the last tour of the day at 7:40 PM.
