Lynne Knowlton is the owner of an epic treehouse and cabin in the sleepy town of Durham, just two hours away from Toronto. The cover of the trees, the shine of the stars and the calm of nature makes it the perfect escape from the city.

The entire space is made out of wood from an old barn and is tastefully decorated with light designs and cozy furniture. The cabin was newly added in 2016 due to increased demand. Typically, two guests stay in the treehouse and two guests stay in the cabin. There's also a pool, hammock, upper deck, decorated outhouse and over 100 acres of walking trails available for use.

Rates are $800 a night for up to four people, and $100 per person per night for additional guests.

The treehouse retreat is available for rent from June to September of this year. For booking inquiries, contact Lynne Knowlton here.
