The weather is about to seriously heat up in Toronto and the rest of Ontario. We're about to have one of the longest and hottest summers we've had in a while, which is super exciting!
I don't know about you guys but hearing about how warm and sunny it's going to be this summer makes me pumped for festival season! Toronto has a bustling festival season with all kinds of different festivals for literally everyone to enjoy.
There's going to be tons of food related festivals, music festivals, film festivals, drink festivals and so much more! You should start planning your festival schedule with your crew ASAP.
Canadian Music Week
When: May 7th-13
Canadian Music Week is all about celebrating the incredibly talented artists that are from our home and native land of Canada! You may know some of the artists performing at the various venues across the city but a lot of them you might not and this gives you a chance to discover some new, amazing artists.
Bud Light Radler Bruch Fest
When: Jun 1st-3rd
A festival dedicated to all things brunch food is coming back again this year! Bud Light is teaming up with Taste Toronto to offer an amazing event with all kinds of delicious brunch food from restaurant vendors across the city.
Electric Island
When: May 20th, July 1st, August 11, September 2nd & 3rd
If you love electronic music you definitely don't want to miss out on Electric Island this year. The festival is hosted on the Toronto Islands for multiple weekends throughout summer. You can even buy a season pass and make it out to all the festival days!
Toronto Poutine Fest
When: May 24th-27th
Toronto's first-ever festival dedicated to all things poutine is happening this spring at Dundas Square! There will be over 50 different kinds of poutines being sold from different local vendors that are making unique creations just for this event.
Hot Docs International Documentary Festival
When: April 26th-May 6th
This is the largest documentary film festival in all of North America and you definitely don't want to miss it! There will be over 150 cutting edge documentaries screened during this festival from all around the world.
Taco Fest

If you love tacos and everything to do with Mexican culture, this Taco Fest is the place for you! There will tons of vendors selling delicious eats like tacos, roasted corn, churros, and drinks of course!

Ever After Music Festival
When: June 8th-10th
Ever After is one of the biggest electronic music festival blowouts in Toronto. You can camp out on-site, have a fun time in the waterpark, experience fair games at the Midway, and play in the bubble zone! This festival is more than just a music festival, it will release the kid in you with all the exciting games.
Northern Heat Rib Series
When: May 18th-20th and June 15th-17th
Ontario's largest rib festival will be in Toronto for May and June! You can go and eat all kinds of different ribs, poutine, BBQ chicken, funnel cakes and so much more at this amazing food festival. You can find it in Dundas Square in May and at Woodbine Park in June.
Spring Beer Fest TO
When: May 19th and 20th
Beer lovers rejoice because there's a festival for your all time favourite drink happening in the Fort York National Historic Site. There will be tons of local brewers on site and of course tons of delicious food as well!
Field Trip Music & Arts Festival

Another one of Toronto's best music festivals is Field Trip Music Festival at Fort York & Garrison Common.
