You Will Be Able To Ride The GO Train For Free On New Years Eve

Toronto, you best settle your plans for New Years Eve early - GO transit is offering free train rides across the city after 7 pm that night, and it's going to be a busy one!

On December 31, GO trains will be running on a Saturday schedule, and will continue to operate late into the night.

The train schedules are as follows:

Lakeshore West

  • Extra trips will depart Aldershot at 23:31, 00:11 & 01:11
  • Extra trips will depart Union at 01:13, 01:43 & 02:43

Lakeshore East

  • Extra trip will depart Oshawa at 00:11, 00:41 & 01:41
  • Extra trips will depart Union at 00:43, 01:30 & 02:30

Milton

  • Extra trips will depart Milton at 20:00 & 21:00
  • Extra trips will depart Union at 01:35 & 02:35

Kitchener

  • Extra trips will depart Georgetown at 20:00 & 21:00
  • Extra trips will depart Union at 01:40 & 02:40

Richmond Hill

  • No special late-night trips

Barrie

  • Extra trips will depart Allandale at 20:47
  • Extra trips will depart Union at 00:25, 01:25 & 02:25, instead of 21:50 & 22:50

Stouffville

  • Extra trip will depart Lincolnville at 20:10 & 21:10
  • Special late-night train trips will depart Union at 01:50 & 02:50

Some bus trips will also be adjusted, cancelled or added across the network.
