Alberta is so filled with magical landscapes that you can spend every weekend adventuring to a new, unexplored corner of the province. From hidden waterfalls and flower-filled valleys to hoodoos and the badlands, so there is so much to discover. But to enjoy one of the most incredible sights that the province has to offer, you need to check out Alberta's skywalk.

Columbia Icefield Skywalk is an astonishing platform that's unlike your typical dirt trail. Instead, it is a glass walkway that is suspended 918 feet in the air!

The Columbia Icefield Skywalk is open weather permitting from spring to fall. This year it will be accessible from Friday, April 17 to Sunday, October 18, 2020.

The transparent route is secured around a cliff-edge. Strolling along the walkway, you'll feel like you're in a surreal experience.

It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience where you can walk along a jaw-dropping trail. As the entire path is made out of glass, you'll be able to enjoy the views from every angle — including straight down.

Just like the CN Tower or Calgary Tower, here you can test your courage as you cross the see-through floor. Hopefully, you're not afraid of heights.

Every step you take can capture your breath because the all-glass floor will make it feel like you're walking on air.

You won't want to rush your journey because everywhere you look, there will be new stunning sights to see.

Have your camera ready because you can get some insane photos of mountains, waterfalls and even enormous glaciers.

To get to this local gem, you'll need to purchase a ticket. If you want to save some extra money, grab an early bird ticket for $36. Let the tourists pay full price!

The day you want to make the trek, you'll need to head to the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre in Jasper National Park.

Here, you can board a shuttle bus that will take you directly to the Skywalk.
