If you're always wanting to hike but never sure where to go, we've got you covered. There is an 9-kilometre hike in Alberta that will take you to amazing waterfall views. Bow Glacier Falls is literally the perfect date idea for lovers or BFFs who are in love with all things nature. You can thank us later.

Buckle in, because we have the perfect date idea for you.

Going for dinner is overdone and it's time to spice things up.

Alberta has no shortage of nature adventures for those of you that like to be in the great outdoors.

One of the best spots for an unforgettable hike is Bow Glacier Falls. This trail is perfect for any first date or first of many. Or, if you're just looking for a fun outing with your friend, that works too.

Located along the iconic Icefields Parkway, the drive to get to the trial is just as gorgeous as the hike itself.

The trail is easy to get to and if you punch the location into your GPS system, you'll get there with ease.

The trailhead is clearly marked behind Num-Ti-Jah Lodge and if you keep your eyes open you can’t miss it.

Be sure you're wearing good hiking boots as there are uneven surfaces.

Along your magical journey, you'll be treated to views of the Bow Lake's shores. you'll even get to cross it thanks to a series of wooden bridges that are totally dreamy.

Bow Lake itself is magical and the water is so blue it’s almost hard to believe it’s real.

These views are incredible but believe it or not, it gets better.

Eventually, you'll get yourself to a massive waterfall. This section is tucked behind a rock face but you'll definitely hear it before you see it.

This is where the real magic is.

The waterfall will have different levels of water depending on what time of year you go but no matter when you visit it, it’s the perfect romantic date spot.

We recommend bringing items for a picnic and relaxing on the rocks.

After checking out the photos of this hot spot, it’s easy to see why it’s the ideal date activity.

We did all the hard work for you, now all you need to do is ask the apple of your eye out on a date. Remember to pack tons of water, snacks, and layers. This isn't a walk in the park.
