Calgary Has A New "Harry Potter" Bar Where You Can Drink Magical Cocktails

Harry Potter fans, there is a new spot you need to visit with your friends. Did you know we have a brand new Harry Potter-inspired bar in Calgary? Once you find your way inside, you'll be transported to an absolutely incredible magical world where you can sip potions with wizards and muggles.
Called The Potion Room, the new space at 1211 9 Ave. S.E. in Calgary is open Tuesday to Sunday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.
The magical spot looks straight from theand is unlike anything you've experienced before.
Inside, you'll find an enchanting twinkling ceiling and banners for Hogwart houses like Slytherin.
Their menu is packed with mythical mains like jinxed jerk tacos, and bewitched butter chicken, along with mouth-watering desserts like the warm and fudgy cauldron cake. Prices range from $6.00 to $19.75
For those of you who wished you could join the potion classes at Hogwarts School of, you'll love the drink menu.
The Potion Room told Narcity in an email that they have 25 cocktails, with one of their most popular beverages being Unicorn's Blood.
All the drinks have fun names, such as 50 Shades of the Dark Lord, Solemnly Swear, The Owl's Delivery and The Headmaster.
Without a doubt, while you are there, you'll want to order a pint of their butterbeer.
There's also a cocktail and mocktail version of the sweet drink from the bar.
Instead of happy hour, they have "Harry Hour" from Monday to Thursday from 9 p.m. to close. During this time, you can score some cheap cocktails and starters.
They also offer different daily specials, for example, on Sundays you can try their draftfor just $5.
While most of the week they have a bit of a low-key vibe, on Friday and Saturday from 10 p.m to 2 a.m, the bar turns into a party space with a live DJ. It's perfect if you've always wanted to attend one of those wild Hogwarts parties.
