Everybody loves a good vacation and that doesn't have to be to somewhere far away, it can be just south of the border. Air Canada flights to the U.S. will go to even more destinations starting in the summer of 2020. Canadians will be able to jet off to different U.S. cities thanks to the new seasonal summer routes with daily flights.

The airline announced on December 10 that new routes and more flights to the U.S. will be available in 2020 from three major Canadian cities.

Specifically, they are adding two brand new flight routes from Montreal and Calgary and increasing the number of flights on another route from Vancouver.

If you're looking to go on vacation in the summer of 2020 and are thinking of visiting our neighbour to the south, Air Canada has you covered.

The new Montreal-Nashville and Calgary-Boston flight routes will officially take off in June 2020 and that summer a second daily flight will be added to the Vancouver-Newark route.

"As the largest foreign carrier in the U.S., these destinations were chosen based on the strength of Air Canada's North American network, allowing for quicker travel times between Canada and two of the fastest-growing economies in the U.S.," said Mark Galardo, vice president of network planning at Air Canada, in a news release.

Flights for the Montreal-Nashville route will available between June 1, 2020 and October 25, 2020.

This daily service sees flights depart the Quebec city at 6:05 p.m. and arrive in Tennesee at 7:48 p.m., just in time to take in the incredible nightlife in the city's downtown core.

The planes will have business class and economy class cabins and the service complements the existing year-round service to Nashville from Toronto.

Returning flights depart from Nashville at 8:25 a.m. and arrive back in Montreal at 11:51 a.m. every day of the week.

The flights on this route are also timed to offer connections to Air Canada's North American and international destinations like Shanghai, Tokyo, Paris and London.

The Calgary-Boston route will have flights taking off from June 22, 2020 to September 7, 2020.

Boston is already a popular Air Canada destination with trips to the city already departing from Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Halifax.

Flights will depart form Calgary at 4:15 p.m. every day and arrive in Boston at 10:46 p.m. while daily return flights leave Boston at 6:30 a.m. and land in Calgary at 9:32 a.m.

Air Canada is adding a second daily flight between Vancouver and Newark between June 15, 2020, and October 12, 2020.

Flights depart Vancouver daily at 1:35 p.m. and arrive in Newark at 10:05 p.m. while returning flights leave 6:30 a.m. and land in Vancouver at 9:20 a.m.

From Newark, you can easily get to New York City and enjoy all the city has to offer or explore New Jersey.

This new flight is also timed so that travellers can easily connect to Air Canada's Western Canada network.

These flight routes aren't going to be around for long so be sure to book your flight for summer 2020!
