You Can Climb To The Clouds On BC's Jaw-Dropping Stairs & Suspension Bridge Trail
Walk in the clouds. ☁️
You shouldn't look down. This hike isn't your regular climb up a mountain. If you are seeking an epic adventure, then you need to visit Mount Nimbus. You can cross a B.C. suspension bridge into the clouds and climb jaw-dropping stairs on this once-in-a-lifetime trip.
CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures told Narcity that their tour takes you to North America's longest Ferrata in the Purcell Mountains range.
For those of you who have never tried a Ferrata before, it is a kind of mountain climbing where you are attached by a harness. Then you walk along cables and climb ladders on the side of a mountain.
But if you are someone who gets vertigo crossing the, this might not be for you. Just watching the video of someone crossing the hanging wooden bridge 600 metres off the ground might give you goosebumps.
The one of a kind adventure will take you via helicopter to Canada's remote wilderness. Here you'll climb to towering peaks by a path made out of wire cables, ladders, and suspension bridges hung from the mountainside.
It makes for a full day thrilling journey as you navigate bridges that will have you feeling like you are walking in the sky. Along the way, you'll get to enjoy the most incredible views you've ever seen of river basins, meadows, and sky-high granite peaks.
If you happen to own a Go-Pro or other action camera, this certainly would be the trip to use it. Just imagine the Instagrammable photos and videos you could share with your friends.
To join in the fun, you'll need to book a summer tour that runs from July to late August. The trips range from three to six nights, with prices starting at $3,595.
In that price is everything you might need, including lodging, three meals a day prepared by a chef, helicopter flights and ground transportation.
Each trip is tailored to the individuals taking part and their fitness level. So all you need is a sense of an adventure to join.
When you aren't, you'll enjoy a luxurious, relaxing getaway with delicious meals.
Meanwhile, at night you'll get to stay at the new Bobbie Burns Lodge that had an $8.4 million renovation and includes a rooftop hot tub overlooking the mountains for the ultimate bucket list adventure.
