You Can Rent A Waterfront Cabin In The Rockies For The Ultimate Getaway In BC
Sleep in an alpine lodge next to the Canadian Rockies!
Do you want to visit the Canadian Rockies? For the ultimate getaway, you can stay at a waterfront cabin in British Columbia. Lake O'Hara Lodge has several dreamy alpine lodges that look picture perfect.
Located only 1.5 hours from Banff, Lake O'Hara Lodge in Yoho National Park allows you to sleep in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Here, you can relax in your private cabin right next to the turquoise water of Lake O’Hara. Imagine how amazing it would be to wake up in the morning to a view of the mountains and a large lake!
To help preserve the pristine wilderness, Parks Canada limits the number of guests who can visit Yoho National Park. Due to the limited number of people on site, you can enjoy a piece of paradise all to yourself!
The serene lodge is 11 km from the nearest road, so it's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy time outdoors. On a sunny day, you can canoe around Lake O'Hara. There's also plenty of hiking trails nearby that offer breathtaking alpine lookouts. You can even find a meadow filled with wildflowers that makes the perfect spot for a picnic.
From mid-June til early October, there are three types of accommodations available: lodge rooms, lakeshore cabins, and guide cabins. The lodge rooms are in the main lodge and have two twin beds. The lakeshore cabins and guide cabins have a queen bed and are in separate buildings that you'll have to yourself.
While staying at Lake O'Hara Lodge, you're going to enjoy fantastic food made with local products. Included with your stay are all your meals — a breakfast buffet, a lunch buffet (or a packed picnic lunch), afternoon tea, and dinner!
Want to book your next vacation? The price to stay at Lake O'Hara Lodge starts at $365 a person and includes all your meals, afternoon tea, round-trip bus to the lodge, taxes, and gratuities.
