Sometimes, it's best to just take a break from the city and become one with nature. If you want to see a little more of what nature has to offer, there's a one-kilometre-long Ontario mountain roller coaster you can take a ride on and coast through the wilderness. And, honestly, it's unbelievably beautiful.
Head over to Blue Mountain Resort, just over two hours' drive from Toronto, and you can take a turn on the Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster. This roller coaster zips past stunning scenery where you can take breathtaking photos of Ontario's forests in all their fall beauty.
If you're a roller coaster fan and an outdoorsy type, then this is definitely for you!
With speeds of up to 42 km/h, you'll for sure get that shot of adrenaline as you wind through the path.
This will generally be a solo mission into the forest, although if you happen to bring someone under the age of 12, they'll have to hitch a ride with you.
This attraction is open every day and you can take rides all year long. So make sure to take a couple of trips throughout the year, because it's hard to imagine a better way to watch the seasons change!
The coaster is open every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
From Monday to Friday, youth tickets cost $14 and adult pricing is $17. On weekends, prices go up two more dollars for each bracket.
If you decide to come with a group of friends, you do get a 10 percent discount when you buy four or more passes.
