It’s no secret that Ontario is filled with hidden gems for you to discover. But, without a car of your own, getting to these magical places can be difficult. Well, don’t worry. Parkbus Canada is re-opening this summer, meaning you can travel the province with ease again. Things will look a little different this year, though.

Parkbus offers rides from Toronto to some of the province’s most beautiful natural hot spots, making it easy for those without wheels to go exploring.

Narcity reached out to Boris Issaev, a Parkbus Canada co-founder, to learn more about the company’s re-opening plans for this summer.

“We are likely to reopen by July, but expect to limit (the) number of passengers to at most 50% capacity,” Issaev explains via email.

This means each bus would run with about 25 passengers instead of the usual 50.

“It's obviously a big barrier, as it's hard to stay afloat with those numbers,” Issaev adds.

According to a blurb on the Parkbus website, a few other changes will also be implemented.

This includes increased cleaning of the buses, hand sanitizer for passengers, and regular bus temperature checks.

Travellers will also be required to wear masks while on the bus.

If you’ve never taken a Parkbus trip yourself, they can be quite the thrill.

With breathtaking destinations such as the Bruce Penisula, Algonquin Provincial Park, Killarney Provincial Park, the Elora Gorge, and so many more, you’ll be able to check off all of you travel bucket list items.

The trips start in Toronto or Vancouver, and earlier this year, the company launched an Ottawa to Gatineau pilot project as well.

Tour prices vary based on the destination, but you can expect to pay around $79-$89 for each full-day excursion.

So it looks like we might be soaking up the sun at Lions Head sooner than we thought.
