You Can Ride This 1km Mountain Coaster Through The Forest In Ontario This Fall
The ultimate fall adventure!
Everyone loves a good roller coaster from time to time because it gives us a thrill that we just can't find anywhere else. But there's one thing roller coasters at amusement parks are missing and that's a good view. Usually massive amusement parks are located in the middle of nowhere and when you get to the top there's really not that much to look at.
There's a roller coaster here in Ontario that runs on a track straight through a lush forest on a mountain! The Ridge Runner is a mountain roller coaster that will zip you along a 1km track on the Blue Mountain slopes. It's totally unique and there's really nothing else like it here in Ontario!
The Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster gets up to speeds of 42km/h so you're going to get that thrill of regular roller coasters that you're looking for! What makes it special is the breathtaking views of the Collingwood forest that you get to witness along the way which you'll guide yourself through all on your own!
The best part about this mountain coaster is that it's actually open all year round, 7 days a week! The most beautiful times to go are definitely in fall and winter though when the forest transforms into a magical enchanted forest!
For the fall season, September 3 through October 27, they'll be running the coaster everyday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For a single ride it costs $13 for youths and $16 for adults so it's not that pricy at all! If you purchase for or more passes at a time though you'll get a 10% discount.
