This Magical Winter Spa In Canada Needs To Be On Your Bucket List

Pamper yourself!

We're officially in the dead of winter and that means freezing cold temperatures everywhere in Canada, many more snowstorms to come and probably lots of icy sidewalks just waiting to be slipped on. But winter doesn't have to be all bad!

If you're looking for a mini escape from your winter blues but can't quite afford a plane ticket to a sunny beach, a spa is your next best option! Luckily, Canada is home to some of the most beautiful and relaxing spas in the world which make for the perfect getaway from life and winter.

The Thermea Spa in Winnipeg, Manitoba should be at the top of your list for winter getaways because it's seriously magical! During the winter months the outdoor hot tubs, saunas, and waterfalls are surrounded by fluffy snow and icicles and it will make you feel like you just entered into a winter wonderland.

The Thermea Spa is located just a 15-minute drive outside of downtown Winnipeg making it the perfect place to spend the day if you're staying overnight in the city! The spa is all about promoting health and wellness through relaxation and we're all for it.

Their Thermal Cycle is what draws everyone in. It's a heat therapy treatment where guests alternate between hot and cold temperatures followed by a rest period to promote relaxation. The first step is a visit to any of their 4 saunas, then you'll move onto any of their 3 cold pools, and finally, relax in one of their rest areas!

Access to the site including all saunas, baths, and relaxation areas costs $58 on the weekends and $49 on the weekdays which is an amazing price! Their massages and other treatments vary in price but will also give you access to the other areas of the spa before and/or after your treatments.

They also have a restaurant on-site where guests can enjoy a drink and some food during their long day of relaxation. They also have packages that include a stay in a hotel if you want to extend your getaway for another day.
