From natural landscapes to man-made dwellings, America is full of amazing things to explore. From top to bottom, there are plenty of hidden gems to uncover, like Alabama's drive-thru museum. Whether you are local or a just a quick passerby on a road trip, if you are looking for some awesome southern roadside attractions, this is one place that deserves to be on your travel bucket list.

But don't just take our word for it.

"This is absolutely the coolest thing I’ve happened upon on a road trip! Felt like I could have been in @robzombieofficial movie," an Instagram user reviewed on the museum's page

Made up of shipping containers with exhibits built in that you can gawk into from the comfort of your vehicle, this one-of-a-kind establishment is known as The Museum of Wonder.

It has everything you would expect it to: art, artifacts, antiques, and, as the name suggests, plenty of things that'll leave you wondering.

Their official website touts that you can see "curiosities from around the world and beyond! (but mostly from Alabama!)" So if you're from Alabama, this could totally be a bragging right.

The site originally started in the 1970s by artist Butch Anthony as a collection of taxidermy and artifacts. It has since grown to include many odds and ends and is hailed as the "world's first" of its kind.

While it might be a drive-thru, some visitors find themselves meandering outside to get an extra good look and a better photo op!

The site is free to visit and conveniently open all hours of the week, so no matter what time your busy schedule opens up, the museum will be waiting.
