Why You Need To Go: With a name like this, you'd think there would be mountain ranges covered in Opossums here, but that isn't really the case for this little town. Found to the northwest of Merritt Island on the St. John’s River, Possum Bluff is part of Putnam County.
There are some interesting features nearby, such as NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, where you can watch rocket launches, and Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge's over 140,000-acre nature preserve with glowing waters you can experience on a bioluminescent kayak tour.
Why You Need To Go: Probably the perfect place to be a potato, Couch, FL is found up in the panhandle in Bay County. With beautiful Panama City and Panama City Beach close by, you can take your couch potato vibes to the beach and relax.
Fluffy Landing, FL
Why You Need To Go: Probably a good place to crash land, Fluffy Landing can be found on the waterfront of Jolly Bay in Freeport. There are plenty of marinas and places to launch kayaks and paddleboards from in this area, with some great beaches close by, too.
