This Tropical-Inspired Restaurant In South Florida Is A Hidden Jungle Hideaway
A magic waterfront view.
Florida's coastline has many waterfront restaurants and beach cafes with incredible views, but there is a unique restaurant in Jupiter where you can go straight from kayak to the table. Guanabanas is a tropical-inspired restaurant serving great cuisine in a jungle hideaway setting.
This restaurant was first opened by Jupiter surfers as a sandwich shop in 2004. Since that moment, the waterfront eatery with lush tropical settings became one of the hottest places to eat in the area.
Guanabanas offers a dining experience like none other, where guests can feel like they just arrived at a rainforest with illuminated waterfalls, tiki bars and palms surrounding the patio.
All seafood served at Guanabanas is from the state of Florida. The menu includes breakfast, lunch and dinner with a unique taste and fresh seafood.
The outdoor restaurant also hosts live performances with local, regional and national artists. Some of the artists that have appeared on the tiki stage are Sol Driven Train, Zach Deputy, Less Than Jake and others.
The restaurant is right on the water and it features pastel-hued chairs to watch the sunset on a warm afternoon. It is a great casual spot to have a romantic date and enjoy the view.
Guanabanas serve Floridian cuisine such as spicy shrimp bites, local shrimp fritters, fish tacos and other delicacies. After kayaking or paddleboarding the Inlet, stop for a quick lunch and enjoy the jungle vibe from this hidden haven that will remind you why you live in Florida.
