This east coast gem is a cool road trip for Floridians wanting to escape the ordinary and dive into an adventure without taking a trip all the way to Tombstone. Love Valley is a small town featuring an old western community nestled in the foothills of the Brushy Mountains just north of Statesville, NC.
This town looks like an old cowboy movie come true. About 441 miles and six hours and a half away from Jacksonville, FL horses, hitching trails and country stores will transport you to a Wild Wild West scene.

The western town features many seasonal events including rodeos, horse and wagon parades, concerts, a chili cook-off and more. But the best part about visiting Love Valley is the horse riding experience.
The valley features thousands of acres of land where you can ride free of charge with your own horse. During your visit you will discover many shops such as the country store, tack shop, gift shop, general store, hardware store, or the blacksmith shop.
Its old-western cottages provide the perfect backdrop for your cowgirl photoshoot or a unique setting for your engagement pictures.
Since the inception of Love Valley, the locals have maintained the tradition and western vibe for future visitors. The dirt roads and realistic saloons give this town a real old west vibe that you probably have seen only in movies.
Cars are not allowed in Love Valley and believe us when we say you better wear boots. According to a Trip Advisor user Love Valley "...is Cowboy heaven. Check your fins and knives at the door--- and I am not kidding."
