Netflix has been on fire for the past few years when it comes to original series. Ozark, starring Jason Bateman has been one of those series. The show sucks you in on the first episode and forces you to binge all three seasons in a weekend (sorry, not sorry). The show is actually filmed in our great state of Georgia and you can check out all the filming locations of Ozark right outside of Atlanta.
You could have eaten at the same places this show was filmed and have no idea! With filming in Atlanta and the surrounding areas (even Savannah), you can actually go and visit these same places. If you're lucky, sometimes you can even be an extra in these famous films and series if you are in the right place at the right time.
Address: 200 14th St. NW., Atlanta, GA 30318
Why You Need To Go: This diner has been featured in many films such as Remember the Titans, and now, Ozark. The southern cooking will make you feel right at home, and you can even sit at the same booth as the stars.
Jones Bridge Park
Address: 4901 E. Jones Bridge Rd., Norcross, GA 30092
Why You Need To Go: You might recognize this park from the fly-fishing scene where Roy Petty and Russ Langmore flourish their relationship. It sits on 30 acres and you can even try fishing for yourself.
Blue Cat Lodge (J.D.’s Bar-B-Que)
Address: 6557 Bells Ferry Rd., Woodstock, Georgia 30189
Why You Need To Go: Obviously, this is a STAPLE in the show. Marty's first project is to get the "Blue Cat Lodge" up and running for his sneaky business. This establishment has since been turned into "J.D.’s Bar-B-Que," but you can still see the sign on the inside of what was used for the show.
Williamson Bros. BBQ
Address: 1600 Marietta Hwy., Canton, GA 30114
Why You Need To Go: This is a place you can get amazing, authentic, southern BBQ. You see glimpses of this location in season one, and you must go try it out for yourself.
Victoria Harbour Marina & Sunset Grille
Address: 1000 Victoria Landing Dr., Woodstock, GA
Why You Need To Go: In season one, this marina and restaurant set an eerie scene for the episodes. You can actually boat, fish and swim in this lake, as well as dine in the restaurant to get the same views as those on the show.
River Street Savannah
Address: E. River St. Savannah, GA 31401
Why You Need To Go: While pretty far from Atlanta, Savannah has been a prime filming location for many shows and movies. Season three is where you can see these locations and you can walk the same street as Jason Bateman did.
Address: 100 Rue Charlemagne Dr., Braselton, GA
Why You Need To Go: Known as a beautiful winery, golfing, and lodging spot in Georgia, in Ozark, you only see some of the rooms and cabanas. This location has so much to offer and you can see it for yourself. They're also hosting a fall festival in November where you can drink bottomless wine and stomp grapes, so you have to go back for that of course.
