Sometimes when you go hiking, you just want an easy trail that doesn't take much energy. There are tons of gorgeous trails in the state that will take you to waterfalls and through amazing forest scenery. However, if you want to see the most beautiful views in Georgia, you may have to do some climbing.

That's certainly the case if you decide to do the George W. Disney Trail in Dalton, Georgia. This trail is rated as difficult (unlike other gorgeous hikes in Georgia), which means that you have to be ready to get a workout in when you check it out. The trail is about 1.5 miles, and it takes you out and back, but it doesn't loop around.

The hike starts out quite easy at the beginning, but the ascent quickly becomes steeper. Just take your time and bring plenty of water along with you, and you shouldn't have a problem.

During the spring, you'll definitely want to slow down so you can take some time to appreciate the wildflowers. There are a variety of different flowers that grow here, and they make the trail even more gorgeous as usual. However, there is plenty to see there at any time of the year.

When you finally get to the top, you'll enjoy a stunning overlook that shows the surrounding area in sharp relief.

Don't forget to take some pictures—you won't want to forget this place (or these other top-notch spots).

Want to bring your pup with you? No problem; dogs are allowed on this trail. Just remember to keep your leash on your furry friend.

If you don't mind hiking back down in the dark, it's definitely worth it to check out this spot during sunset. Choose a clear day, and you're sure to see some incredible colors as the sun sets.

While this may not be the easiest hike you've ever tried, it's 100% worth it when you get to the top.
