Is there anything better than having an ice-cold Coke on a hot day? If you're a Coca-Cola lover, there's a museum in Mississippi that belongs on your bucket list. The Biedenharn Candy Company is where the first-ever bottle of Coke was made and, best of all, this historic spot only costs $3.50 to visit.

Biedenharn Coca-Cola Museum is located in Vicksburg, MS, and is only a 45-minute drive from Jackson. Round up some friends this summer for a short road trip out of the city.

This magical little museum displays Coke advertisements throughout history including slogans like, "The Pause That Refreshes!"

You'll learn about the bottling process and can check out all the awesome memorabilia.

In 1894, Biedenharn Candy Company made history as the place where the now-famous soda pop was first bottled. The building now houses the museum.

The first bottle that was manufactured is currently on display. The original one was much wider, shorter, and cloudier than the one we have today.

Maybe it's nostalgia, but compared to our plastic model, we can't help but yearn for the original version.

Of course, you'll need a treat while you explore!

Visitors can enjoy ice cream, fountain Cokes, and floats while they roam through the museum.

Hours are normally from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays. Make sure to get a cute souvenir on your way out.

This adorable museum is just a quick drive from the capital, making it the perfect summer day trip. Feel free to daydream about this tasty bubbly beverage before you go.
