If you've ever been curious about the existence of aliens, Yetis or ghosts, you should prepare to be spooked. You can explore all things paranormal and mythical at this free museum in North Carolina. Countless oddities, artifacts and cryptic paraphernalia can all be found at this peculiar spot.

What appears to be an average, white plantation home in Littleton, NC actually houses Cryptozoology & Paranormal Museum, a bizarre collection of mysterious memorabilia for theoretic creatures from the past and the present.

The museum, which opened in 2015, is "dedicated to the study and display of creatures and phenomena not recognized by traditional science," according to the official website.

Enter this mystical mayhem at your own risk because the items on display here could convince you that what you may have previously deemed fantasy might actually exist.

The museum is completely free to visit and you can discover tons of otherworldly "proof" provided by founder and collector Stephen Barcelo.

You may feel chills run up your spine as you discover haunted dolls, Sasquatch prints, UFO sighting testimonials and evidence, ghost-hunting equipment, local cryptid and ghost stories, Fiji mermaids and more.

One of the biggest attractions here is Bigfoot himself, in the form of a burly statue that makes for a popular photo op. There's also a "face-in-a-hole" cut out so you can channel your inner Yeti.

If you're in-tune with the paranormal and/or cryptic creatures and you've spotted one, you can actually report your sighting on the website.

For even more creepy adventures, you can check out local ghost tours on the website.

If you catch yourself in this historic small town in Halifax, you can drop by for some frightful fun between 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
