This Short Hike In Tennessee Will Lead You To FOUR Dreamy Waterfalls
Only a 1.5 mile hike!
Finding a trail/hike that matches everyone's skill level in your party is key when you go exploring. Tennessee is a popular spot for visitors from all over and you'll find many spots that are both beautiful and fun to explore. This State Park in Tennessee has a short trail that will take you to four waterfalls.
Burgess Falls State Park is one of the most beautiful parks in the entire state, and for good reason.
To see all four waterfalls and have a little bit of an adventure, make sure to take the River Trail. It's only 1.5 miles round trip, which is short enough to enjoy and long enough to get some exercise.
The waterfalls you'll see on your hike are 20-foot cascades, 30-foot upper falls, 80-foot middle falls, and 136-foot lower falls, according to Tennesee Parks.
In any season, this park is a great place to visit. In the spring and summer, you'll be able to see wildflowers blooming and during fall and winter, you'll see beautiful fall foliage and frosted trees.
Burgess Falls will make your jaw drop with its 136-foot majesty. You'll be amazed by the height and the speed of the water coming down.
Because of the amount of rainfall and storm damage, you can only view the falls from the overlook landing, which is just as great as viewing it from the bottom.
Another waterfall you should check out while you're visiting the state is thisnamed Ozone Falls in Cumberland County.
