BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir is the first traditional Hindu Mandir to be built in North America. The massive temple was built in India then shipped to Houston in parts and assembled at its final destination in Stafford. There is so much wonderful culture surrounding the Hindu faith that was put into this limestone masterpiece, but the Mandir is proud to invite people of all religious beliefs and cultures to visit and enjoy the beauty of the temple. And visiting the Mandir is always free.

The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir always has visitors of all kinds who come to check out the fantastic architecture of the establishment, while also doing some peaceful meditation. It's the perfect place to stroll and admire the scenery while enjoying the spring weather. It also has plenty of spots for you to sit and take time to relax and reflect on your life.

The full campus of the Mandir is open from 9 AM to 8:30 PM daily, but the sacred shrines are open from varying different times to the public.
