Some of San Antonio's most beautiful spots are definitely the spectacular gardens full of exotic life and stunning, blooming flowers. One of the largest of the gorgeous gardens is the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. With over 38 acres of trails, flowers, trees, and the biggest greenhouse in the city, you will have the most peaceful and relaxing time ever.
The San Antonio Botanical Garden lies in the center of the city but once you enter the grounds, you'll forget you were in a city in the first place. The garden is always bright and shining with the freshest blooming flowers throughout the year thanks to their giant glass conservatory. But right now, after all of the April rains, the flowers are especially beautiful.
The garden has an abundance of trails you can explore for a peaceful experience among nature. You can find all of the most incredible flowers, trees, and greenery all across the 38 acres of nature, alongside a few giant man-made sculptures that perfectly complement the foliage around them. There are also always events going on, from Nature Walks to Mother and Daughter Brunches to the giant annual Brews and Blooms festival.
When visiting the gorgeous garden, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or some delicious brunch at the stunning and historic Sullivan Carriage House as a part of its cafe Rosella at the Garden.
Just looking at photos of this place will make you want to immerse yourself in its vast beauty!
The garden is open from 9 AM to 5 PM daily, so you can make a whole day trip out of it! Tickets for adults are $12 to enter and $10 for students and military. Rosella at the Garden is open from 11am-3pm on Monday through Friday and 9am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
