You Can Ride On An Actual Polar Express Train In This Canadian City

Check this off your Christmas bucket list!

Getting a chance to experience one of your favourite films in real life is so amazing. Why else would people flock to Disneyland and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in such massive numbers?

Via West Coast Railway Heritage Park

In British Columbia, there’s a place where you can live out The Polar Express on an actual train ride to the North Pole. Well, the train doesn’t go as far as the “real” North Pole, but it does take you on a totally magical journey.

Every year, West Coast Railway Heritage Park in Squamish puts on a magical Polar Express experience. If you love everything to do with Christmas, then you can’t miss out on this amazing train ride! We're definitely adding this to our Christmas bucket list.

Your ticket includes a round-trip on the Polar Express from the train station to the Squamish Estuary where Santa and the North Pole await! You’ll receive a Golden Ticket to ride the train and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies on your trip. If you want to splash out and go VIP on your Polar Express experience, then you can ride the train at night with lights and receive a collector’s mug!

There are even more festive touches including a choir singing Christmas carols at the entrance to the train station, a costumed train conductor and you’ll hear the story of The Polar Express over speakers in the train. The train’s destination is the North Pole and Gingerbread Village where you’ll see Santa and a ton of holiday activities before you reboard your train for the return journey.
