Tundra Buggy In Canada Brings You Right Next To Polar Bears & It's Wild

This isn't your regular afternoon road trip. If you are someone who can't get enough of seeing cute animals, then we found the perfect trip for you. You can ride in a Tundra Buggy that will take your right next to polar bears in Canada and it's wild.

Churchill, Manitoba is famous for being one of the best spots in the world to spot polar bears. But for your safety, you don't want to explore for the bears on your own.

Instead, Frontiers North Adventures offers day tours on their massive 40 person buggy. While driving across the tundra, you'll undoubtedly want to have your camera ready as you'll get up close to all sorts of arctic animals.

Some of the creatures you might see, aside from polar bears, are caribou, arctic hare, red foxes, snowy owls and much more.

To keep you safe the vehicle is designed so that the windows are higher than even the largest of bears can reach. Specially designed to navigate the difficult terrain, the buggy is super comfortable inside too.

The most budget-friendly option is to join the summer tour in July and August. It is a six-hour adventure and costs only $229 a person.

But the best time to go would be from October and November. During this time, you'll find the highest polar bear population around Churchill.

Unlike the summer tour, which has more of a focus on the birds and landscape, once the colder weather arrives, the focus is more on the bears.

It begins with a pickup at 7:45 a.m. from the Fifty Eight North office and goes until 5:00 p.m when you return to Churchill.

The fall tour is also two-hours longer than the summer one. Which means it is a full-day excursion.

The fee for this activity is $509 per person. While this is expensive, for a once-in-a-life experience, it is worth the splurge.

Within the price for the summer and fall day-trip, it also includes a light lunch, beverages, and all taxes too.

If this sounds like some you'd like to try, you'll want to buy your tickets early. They often sell out because of the limited amount of spots available.
