Twitter Is Dragging The Crap Out Of Fergie's National Anthem At The NBA All-Star Game

Last night was the 2018 NBA All-Stars game... as well as perhaps one of the most "confusing" renditions of the American national anthem you have ever heard.

Yes, we're Canadian. But I'm sure you know how the American national anthem goes:

Oh, say! can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming

You know. While you probably know the anthem to be stately and majestic, if you watched Fergie's "slow and sexy" version of the anthem last night, it might have left you dazed and confused... as it did with everyone else at the game.

As she performed the anthem seemingly struggling to reach the high notes, laughter could apparently be heard in the background throughout the performance. I mean, did you see the look on the players' faces?!

After the cringey episode that was Fergie's singing, Charles Barkley wanted to jump right in to offer his two cents. Unfortunately, Shaq didn't let him, but we all knew what he was going to say.

"Damn right it was different. I needed a cigarette after that" - Charles Barkley on Fergie's national anthem CHUCK. GOAT.

And of course, the Twitterverse must sound in as well. But not only were people confused, they were outright dragging Fergie through the dirt saying that she absolutely "murdered" it (and not in the good kind of way). Tbh, the comments are kind of hilarious.

Poor Fergie.

It's okay, you'll do better next time. If there's a next time.
