As a regular Netflix binge-watcher myself, I'll admit that overall, I don't have too many bad things to say about the streaming service. They've stepped their game up with creating awesome, original content on a regular basis that makes the subscription price well worth it, and they regularly update their content library of other TV shows and movies for us to enjoy. However, Twitter users are frustrated with this Netflix feature and it's so relatable.

If you haven't figured it out yet, the feature people can't stop complaining about is the uber-annoying "Are you still watching?" that Netflix prompts us with every few episodes. I'm the kind of person who likes to throw on a movie or TV show while I'm studying, cooking, or cleaning my house, and oftentimes, I won't even realize my show has stopped until I realize how quiet it suddenly is. Yes Netflix, I'm still watching, even if I'm not really watching.

How can I be sure though?
You have our metrics, Netflix. You know which of us watch 2-3 episodes before bed. You know which of us are the worst, the true binge gremlins, devouring seasons in mere days, bathing in takeout containers and trash. You know that the notif only slows us. Leave us to our shame.
Will Netflix ever get rid of this annoying feature? Probably not. Let's be real - they're kind of doing us a favour by not endlessly streaming things while we sleep. Now we can keep track of what episode we're on, and not run up our Internet bill, so maybe it's a blessing in disguise.
