Here in the Pacific Northwest, we like to get really close to nature. While treehouses, cave dwellings, boats, and cabins aren't too uncommon for our communes with Mother Nature, we found one of the most unique stays in Washington state. It's not just pot-friendly, but it'll allow you to actually stay underground!
Narcity may receive a portion of sales if you purchase something from this article, which was created independently by Narcity's editorial team just for you.
It's a 500-square-foot, custom-built, underground house that'll cost you $165 a night. It can comfortably sleep up to five people, meaning, it's only $33 per person if you decide to split the bill with your friends.
There's plenty of sleeping space, so it looks like it was pretty much designed for a slumber party. The bedroom comes with one double bed, and the couch in the living room converts into one too. The loft has two twin folding mattresses and sleeping bags if you want to camp outside.
Guests have half an acre of privacy. On these grounds, you'll also find a fire pit to roast those s'mores or to get the scary camper tales going.
For other truly lit amenities, the listing mentions that it's "cannabis-friendly" too.
There's also a camping pad in this space where you can fit a two-person tent if you decide you need some quiet time or a reading nook.
The vast grounds make this spot pet-friendly, so you can bring your pupper along.
But do note that a resident dog and cat called Kieko and Silly live there.
There's also a tiny kitchen with dishes, cooking essentials, a burner stovetop, and an oven if you decide to whip up some meals.
An indoor shower-toilet is also built into the charming interiors. The best part? There's a claw-foot tub in there with heated flooring. Oh, and continuous Wi-Fi access!
If you ask us, we'd pretty much lounge here forever.
But if you'd like to get outside, the Sequim Bay State Park and the Olympic Discovery Trail are only a short walk away.
This town is also known for its fragrant lavender come spring/summer.
So, if you're looking for a quick getaway from the city to reconnect with nature or just your buds (pun intended), this could be your new vacay home.
