Unique Things To Do In Washington State Should Include This Laburnum Arch On Whidbey

If you ever find yourself in the Evergreen State during spring, you'll hear everyone talking about the tulip fields. But there's another magical garden hidden in plain sight that should be on your list of unique things to do in Washington state: A gorgeous tunnel of sunshiney yellow blooms that'll make you feel like you're on a vacation in Europe!

You'll find this massive yellow-green laburnum arch at the Bayview Farm and Garden in the quaint island town of Langley in Washington.

The pooch-friendly farm is open every day between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. and is free to explore.

While there's so much to do while here, one of the star attractions is the canopy of infinite golden flowers that hang down the path.

It'll cheer you up no matter how grey the skies are.

A spokesperson for the farm told Narcity that the "golden rain" is usually in full bloom mid-May, but they can predict more accurately closer to the day.

They also host an event every year just to celebrate the blossoms and so that people can come and take photos under it! It's like it was made for the 'Gram.

According to the website, the "golden chain tree" was planted nearly 20 years ago by the owner of the farm, Maureen Murphy.

And by constantly training the branches, you can now enjoy the fragrant yellow blooms as they tease you through spring.

They last for about two to three weeks after they bloom, so make sure to check their page for updates on the best time to visit.

The farm also made it to the top 100 list of independent garden centers in the U.S. and you'll see just why.

You'll find a nursery and a greenhouse, a slice of island paradise with winding brick paths.

Here, you can buy some lush indoor tropicals and stunning succulents for your home too.

After feasting your eyes to the stunning Pacific Northwest nature, you can duck into their pretty Flower House Cafe that serves everything from seasonal toasts and chia pudding bowls to beers and wines.

You can feel like you're Alice in Wonderland and dream of the summers to come.
