March is a great month in Miami full of music, festivals, and great weather. This month, Miami is transforming into the streets of New Orleans with incredible activities. Coconut Grove will be hosting a French Quarte Block Party and it's actually free.
If you couldn't make it to New Orleans this year, you will have a similar experience at the streets of Coconut Grove. This city is renovating and adding more events every month. Florida Avenue will be transformed into a French Quarter Festival with brassy funky tunes by South Florida favorites - Bad Apples Brass Band and Spam Allstars.
If you're into jazz music, this is an event you can't miss. You have probably listened to Bad Apples Brass Band at Lagniappe or Sweet Liberty before. Also, there will be a lot of food from the best vendors in Miami.
There will be specialty items from The Salty Donut, The Spillover, Harry's Pizzeria, Shore to Door Fish Market, and Dasher & Crank. Additional shops will be at the event for your shopping experience such as Trinkets for D, Carla Merino Jewelry, Wood Equals Love, Rust and Wax, French75Vintage, and one of the locals favorite boutique Golden Bar.
The event will take place on March 3rd from 12 pm to 3 pm and you can register here. You've probably never experienced a party like this before.
Don't forget to bring some beads to the event and collect other ones. It's going to be epic.
