What's more mouthwatering than a seafood festival? A festival dedicated to our favorite crustacean. Key West is hosting a fascinating Lobsterfest that will keep you asking for more butter to sauce up your lobster.
The Key West Lobsterfest will be held between August 8th - 11th on Duval street. The festival will feature fresh lobster, cold beer, and live music. It will welcome lobster season with the best local restaurants.
Over four days, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy different events and activities starting on Thursday with a lobster boil where guests will receive over a pound of the boil including lobster, shrimp, andouille sausage, crawfish, sweet corn on the cob and new potatoes. This event costs $29.95 and will be located at The Roof.
The festivities continue on Friday with a pub crawl and participants will receive an official Lobsterfest 2019 T-Shirt. But, the main attraction happens on Saturday where locals join together for live music, over 16 bars and restaurants serving fresh lobsters meals, and lots of Corona beers.
The festival also has a street fair with lots of arts, crafts, and merchandise. You cannot leave this festival without a good souvenir and maybe a lobster key chain.
The final day will be dedicated to a decadent lobster filled brunch within the tropical gardens of the First Flight Grill & Brewery. The brunch will be served from 10 am until 2 pm. It's important you make reservations here as space is limited.
This will be the most sea-infused event you can attend in Key West. The Lobsterfest will be located at 424 Greene Street Key West, FL 33040.
