Orlando’s Massive New Food Hall Made Entirely Out Of Shipping Containers Is Opening This Weekend (PHOTOS)
Orlando is opening Boxi Park, a shipping container food hall.
Weekends in Orlando are turning sweeter with a cool food hall concept. The massive food hall will be located in Lake Nona and will offer a great entertainment spot for locals. Orlando is opening Boxi Park - a food hall made entirely of shipping containers.
Locals won't be able to resist the 30,000 square-foot space. The food hall promises to serve chef-driven food concepts along with Michelin-rated restaurant experience. Boxi Park is doing a soft opening this weekend with a limited preview starting on Friday. If you are a foodie and love new food concepts, this is a preview you can't miss.
Boxi Park will have live entertainment and a laid back atmosphere perfect to chill during the weekends. The eateries joining the food hall are: Before it Melts, Cañonita, Claw & Order, Fowl, Play, Fresh Pip, The Grill Next Door, and Park Pizza & Brewing Co.
It will also feature counter-serve bars that will offer craft beers, fine wines, margaritas, sangrias, mixed cocktails, fresh-squeezed fruit, and veggie drinks. The bars to be featured are Bar Nona, Hops and Vine, and 'la cajita'.
La Cajita promises to serve kegged cocktails under 11 seconds. Now, that's a fast happy-hour menu. Boxi Park will be dog-friendly and feature Barxi Park - a fenced-in dog park to let your puppies roam around. The food hall will have a playground for children and sand volleyball courts for your next workout.

Friday, Feb. 15: 4 pm to 11 pm
Saturday, Feb. 16: 4 pm to 11 pm
Sunday, Feb. 17: 4 pm to 9 pm
