13 Boston Women With Badass Jobs

She believed she could, so she did.

The women in this city never cease to amaze me. Artists, business-owners, creators, dreamers, doers; these women know what they want and aren't afraid to do exactly whatever that may be.

These women are grabbing their industry by the reigns, proving that it certainly isn't a "man's world" anymore. So, if you're in need of a little inspo to keep you truckin' along your career path, a little nudge to set you off in a completely different direction, or just want to admire a few badass ladies who have some pretty awesome jobs...here you go.

After graduating from Massachusetts College of Art in 2008, Hughes was quick to turn her passion into a career as she founded her very own sustainable jewelry line in 2010, followed by the opening of her Boston boutique, Ore, in 2013. The boutique features work by local female designers. Talk about #girlpower.
