Austin Just Got A New Rooftop Bar And It's Absolutely Stunning (PHOTOS)
Austin's new L6 rooftop bar and lounge opens this weekend.
Line Austin's new rooftop bar and lounge is officially opening this weekend on Friday, March 1st. The new lounge will live on the 6th-floor rooftop of the modern downtown hotel with stunning panoramic views of Austin. The bar will feature expertly crafted cocktails and perfected tapas plates.
L6 was designed to show off the best views of the ever-expanding, beautiful city of Austin. Panoramic views of downtown can be seen from all angles of the lounge, from the glistening Lady Bird Lake to famous Congress Avenue.
The atmosphere of the lounge is very modern and white with gentle pops of pastel color. The meticulously designed rooftop space will make you feel like you just walked into a fantastic "watercolor" painting, according to their website.
The dishes served at the new L6 bar will be exquisitely prepared by Executive Chef Justin Ermini. Items on the menu include cheese and charcuterie platters, lamb tartare, and Spanish octopus, with limoncello layer cake and affogato for dessert.
The high rise bar and lounge will captivate their customers taste buds with their beautifully constructed cocktails, such as their Sundown Cobbler, made with 12 gin, fruits rouges, prosecco, fresh berries, and citrus or their Toasted Almond Mai Tai, made with 60 rum blend, house-made orgeat, citrus, and curaçao. If you're looking for something to really spice up your night, you can try their P6 Bloody Mary, made with 12 wasabi, pepper vinegar, and house pickles!
Uniquely crafted cocktails go from $10 to $15 a glass, while wines go from $12 a glass to $440 for a bottle! Most beers stay around $7 each. If you're wanting to escape the madness of Austin's "dirty" 6th street and enjoy the high life of the bar scene, make sure to check out L6 when it opens this Friday.
The new L6 bar and lounge will be located at the Line Austin on 111 East Cesar Chavez, Austin TX 78701. They will be open Thursday/Friday from 4 pm to 12 am, Saturday from 12 pm to 2 am and Sunday from 12 pm to 8 pm.
