Downtown Austin Is Hosting An Epic Food & Music Festival With Tons Of Texas BBQ This Spring
The Hot Luck food and music fest is cooking up the best BBQ in Austin.
The incredible culinary treasure Hot Luck Festival is returning to Austin on Memorial Day weekend, and this year it's going to be bigger and better than ever. The line up for artists and food vendors was recently announced to include the best BBQ cook in the state along with tons of fantastic featured restaurants and musical performances. With so many different foods, tunes and events, this food and music festival is perfect for every Texan.
The festival will be happening on May 23rd to May 26th, so there are tons of opportunities for you to stop by and grab a deluxe BBQ plate while listening to the coolest tunes in Austin. Popular vendors will be serving up some of the tastiest food such as the famous Franklin's BBQ, Cisco's, Kebabilicious, Uchi and Holy Roller. There are plenty of events that showcase the featured chefs of these restaurants and more, and you won't want to miss any of them!
There is also a huge lineup of talented musical artists such as Harlem, New Breed Brass Band, PJ Morton and many more. Different events will feature different popular artists on each day of the 4-day festival.
The Hot Luck Festival was created by award-winning chef Aaron Franklin, the iconic Mohawk owner James Moody, and Mike Thelin from Feast Portland, so you know they know what they're doing when it comes to making a perfect food and music venue. The festival has been growing bigger and grander every year, with an impressive amount of new and engaging culinary events every time.
Tickets for the Hot Luck Festival range greatly depending on which events you plan to attend. Tickets for one event goes for $15 all the way up to $550 for their "All-In Whole Enchilada" pass which includes access to every event, unlimited food options, intimate experiences with the famous featured chefs and more.
Hot Luck Festival donates a portion of their events proceeds to The SAFE Alliance every year.
